I was taking a break from landscape painting one day when I thought it might be fun to paint pets. The reason I thought pets, is that I grew up on a small farm. I had dogs, cats, birds, and other creatures. Today in my studio loft apartment I have four rescued boy cats. They keep me company and quite often, I photograph them. They are the inspiration for my pet painting.
